Another day in paradise. The more I see of our world the more it becomes clear how beautiful it is all around. It seems the exceptions of natures beauty are places destroyed or manipulated by humans.
Some places might be more beautiful than others surly. Still, nature in itself is beautiful and it’s everywhere. I’m very grateful to have the opportunities to see and travel the world. And I’m even more grateful for the inner growth I experience continuously while doing so. Traveling in itself does not mean one becomes a wiser person. Yet alone a better one. It takes a certain type of human. One that not just walks blindly with open eyes but consciously with an open heart and mind.
It’s similar to Vipassana mediation. It’s a tool. A technique. But you have to take action and apply it. No one else will. Same for traveling. You are given the opportunities to learn and understand. To free your closed mind. But it’s on you to take those opportunities. To learn. To grow. No one else can do it for you.
Beware; if you get promised the solution to a happy life and it has not everything to do with yourself. Blind faith is poisonous for your mind. No one will make your life better but you. And what ever it is you are doing, if you can’t see the benefits in every moment but are promised they will come in future, better think twice. The future is nothing but uncertain.
Talk soon,
Torsten
